Welcome to SkyeLark

This web site is maintained by SkyeLark Productions, Inc. to provide information about music albums and Celtic music performances.
John (Jake) Jacobs helped form the Bermuda Folk Club in the 'sixties, performed on two albums with the folk group Cornucopia in Maryland in the 'eighties, and has been playing folk music ever since. He performed with Holly Williams for two years in Colorado where they produced their first Celtic album “Tried and True” in 1998. When Sandy Reay joined them, they formed the group SkyeLark and released their old-time album “Dancing Down the Moon” in 1999, a Celtic Christmas album “Turning of the Year” in 2000 and their “Celtic Gold” album in 2002. The group was disbanded in 2002 and Jake has continued playing Celtic Music. A Celtic album “Purple Heather” was released in June 2004 with Holly playing Hammered dulcimer and Jake playing Cittern, Guitar, and Bass. A Celtic album "Celtic Isles" was released in May 2006 with Jake playing hammered dulcimer, cittern, mandolin, and guitar. The album also has guest artists on hammered dulcimer and irish flute.
